Innovative Educational Partnerships Limited (IEPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ and is engaged by Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ to provide teaching and support staff for the operation of Æß²ÊÖ±²¥’s new London campus (Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ London). Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ London is part of Æß²ÊÖ±²¥’s ambitious growth agenda and will be a campus for teaching excellence, home to many disciplines and subjects, which have a focus on sustainability and employability, providing students with an excellent choice of postgraduate programmes.
IEPL are looking to recruit three Teaching Fellows and one Senior Teaching Fellow for MSc International Business and Sustainability Management to bring subject expertise to the teaching of this advanced postgraduate programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering first-class teaching in core areas such as international business, sustainability, corporate responsibility, strategic and financial decision-making, and sustainable human resource management.
The MSc programme provides an advanced perspective on how business management operates across an international context, with a strong focus on sustainability management.
Modules include:
- International Business and Strategy
- Strategic and Financial Decision Making
- The Principles and Practice of Sustainability
- Sustainable Human Resource Management in the Contemporary and Global Context
- Corporate Sustainability and Business Ethics
- Business Project
Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking on a teaching leadership role, including programme or module leadership
- Undertaking teaching and assessment in relevant subject areas
- Contributing to the development of the subject area, embedding sustainability practices into teaching
- Developing and disseminating high-quality teaching materials
- Developing and implementing suitable assessment strategies for both theory and practice components
- Supporting programme team in achieving Campus programme approvals and relevant accreditation
- Fostering links between Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ campuses, with a focus on professional practice and student opportunities
- Supporting students in their academic and practical learning activities
- Leading modules, planning, and delivering excellent teaching that stimulates student interest and is relevant to practice
The role will require close collaboration with Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ Leicester academic teams to establish an impactful approach, embedding professional development in the curriculum, complemented by engaging extra-curricular activities, events, and programmes designed to enhance the overall student experience.
IEPL are looking for an experienced UK higher education academic with a background in teaching and supporting postgraduate students. You will have experience in delivering high-quality teaching and in designing and delivering course content for postgraduate audiences.
You will possess subject expertise in MSc International Business and Sustainability Management and have extensive knowledge of both the UK higher education system and the international education sector. Experience in administrative duties, such as student recruitment, enrolment, induction, and assessment, is essential. The role also requires experience in supervising dissertations and project work, and in participating in external networking, including engagement with local businesses and employers.
Knowledge of the London higher education market will be advantageous.
