The Institute of History exists to support the work of Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ historians at all levels, in producing world-leading research outputs and tangible research impact, and to promote the dissemination of this research to a range of local, national and global communities.
Alongside an annual research seminar series, it supports a suite of MA programmes and an active community of PhD students.
The institute also organises international conferences and is committed to developing the historical archives in Æß²ÊÖ±²¥’s Special Collections for the use of academics, researchers and postgraduate and undergraduate students.
