Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ Pride 2021

This year will see the seventh annual Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ Pride celebrations take place here at Æß²ÊÖ±²¥, with a jam-packed month of events taking place virtually to mark LGBTQ+ History Month.

This year’s events will be slightly different as we cannot all be together on campus. Rest assured though, we are still celebrating Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ Pride and there will be events taking place for everyone to take part in to educate themselves and to recognise the influence LGBT people have had around the world.

This year's highlights include a panel discussion focussed on transgender athletes in sport, an ‘in conversation’ event with Phyll Opoku-Gyimah, renowned author and campaigner for LGBT women of African/Caribbean descent, free mindfulness sessions and much more.

Check out the dedicated Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ Pride webpage or view the full timetable of events below.

The webpages also have information about what LGBTQ+ flags mean and upcoming films and documentaries you can watch.
