Carbon Literacy Training is a day full of engaging, group-based interactive learning, that covers what is behind carbon footprints, the basics of climate science and what you can do about it individually and with others.

Æß²ÊÖ±²¥’s training also shares information on the university’s carbon emissions and climate plans and how you can get involved in efforts locally and at Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ to make a difference.

They are approved learning activities for Æß²ÊÖ±²¥’s new Sustainability Advocates scheme, which you can learn more about and sign up to .

A one-hour taster session is taking place from 4 - 5pm on Monday 1 November, as part of a national day of climate action during the first days of the COP26 climate change talks.

This session is a great way to learn more if you are not sure about joining the full one-day course.

The next courses take place online from 2 - 5pm on Wednesday 24 November and Wednesday 1 December.

To sign up to either course, email the Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ sustainability team with your name and P number.
