An update about sports activity from Æß²ÊÖ±²¥sport

Last updated: Monday 9 November.

There's now clarity from the Government regarding university sport.

We're sorry to announce that there will be no face-to-face Æß²ÊÖ±²¥sport activity* including but not limited to sports club training, strength and conditioning, and Æß²ÊÖ±²¥active sessions, occuring until at least Thursday 3 December.

Jiu-Jitsu

We aim to recommence all face-to-face activity operating in line with our Æß²ÊÖ±²¥sport safe activity principles, where possible, on Thursday 3 December, which includes following updated government and National Governing Body guidelines.

Meanwhile, we will continue to support coaches and session leads as they move to deliver more online sessions.

While this is news is regrettable for many, we keep the safety of Æß²ÊÖ±²¥ students and staff at the heart of all our decisions and actions.

Please continue to stay active during the lockdown and follow @Æß²ÊÖ±²¥sports on social media to keep connected and find some #HealthyÆß²ÊÖ±²¥ inspiration. Keep a look out for #KeepÆß²ÊÖ±²¥active, too!

*Please note there may be some individual scholar sessions, which will occur outside on a one-to-one basis, in line with government guidance.
